MAYSVILLE – Bill Berryman, 69, of Valley View, passed away at his residence after losing his battle with cancer. He was born in Bourbon County Kentucky November 29, 1936 to the late Clarence and Martha Conkwright Berryman. He was the owner of the Maysville Monument Works from 1968 until his retirement 2005, and was a Past President of the Aberdeen Ohio Lions Club.
Bill is survived by his wife Rosie Adams Berryman; three sons Mike Berryman, Dover; Ronnie (Sarah) Berryman of Maysville and Steven (Amanda) Berryman of Mount Olivet; two daughters Donna (Roger) Menefee of Maysville and Ann Applegate of Maysville. Also surviving are six granddaughters Brittany Berryman; Peyton Berryman; Adrienne Berryman; Whitney Berryman; Alyssa Menefee and Vanessa Applegate; two Grandsons Joshua Menefee and Kendrick Applegate; two step granddaughters Laura Menefee and Michele (Josh) Menefee Fields. Three step great grandchildren also survive him.
Bill also leaves four brothers Clay (Minnie) Berryman of Millersburg; Joe (Virginia) Berryman, Carl Berryman and Glenn (Wilma) Berryman all of Paris; two sisters Elizabeth Whitaker of Paris; Lottie (James) Sebastian of Millersburg and a brother-in-law Gene Abney of Paris. In addition Bill also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents Bill was predeceased by a sister Carolyn Abney.
Services for Bill Berryman will be 2 pm Sunday July 30, 2006 at Brell & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. James T. Manning officiating. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery.
Calling hours will be after 5pm Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Drive, Maysville, KY 41056.
Active pallbearers for Bill will be Kevin Berryman, Scotty Berryman, Johnny Fossitt, Nathan Fossitt, Dwayne Malone and Guy Pruitt. Honorary pallbearers are Duggie Adamson, Kendrick Applegate, Sam Earlywine and Joshua Menefee.
