I inherited my daughters Dell computer which probably is 3 years old. My old computer was going on 7. This computer is the 4600 series, has XP version 5.5.2600-40GB RPM-512MB Intel pentuim 4 processor-she has Mozilla Firefox (do I need that?.) My problem is when I go to open a file and download it. It won't open for me. I get this C\Document&settings\name\Local setting etc. Windows cannot find C:\Documents&settings\name\LocalSetting\temporaryInt.Files\Cont act.1E5\654JADIL\Image00111E1].jpg:
Then it goes on to say:
Make sure you have typed the name correctly & then try again To search for a file Click the Start Buttom & then Click Search [OK]
then comes up another box with: Dell Image Expert Error Opening Datebase:2000 [OK]
What does all this mean----can someone explain in laymens terms? What can I do to get these files to open. Thanks, I really appreciate you taking the time to help me.

I don't use Mozelle so I would tell you that you don't need it. Others that use it would say that you do need it.

If you like it, Keep it. If not then remove it.

The other sounds like a virus of some sort. Could be a configuration error. Try a program in the "Local Web Links" under Free Internet Tools called ccleaner. It has a pretty good registry cleaning tool.
