We are condisdering a BBS Family Fun Day and Cook Out in July. This would be a great way for everyone to meet and chat in person. We are thinking of doing this at Paradise Breeze so there is something for the whole family to do.

What we would like to know is:
1. If you would attend the Family Fun Day? (This gives us an idea
2. If you would like to help with the event?
3. If you are a Band and would like to play at the event.
4. Any thing that I have forgot about?

Let us know what you think...

I'll try to make it, and be glad to help out. Just ask, and I'll do what I can :).

I used to work at Paradise Breeze when it first opened. Has anythiing changed since then? Back then they had the water part, Noble Romans pizza, go-carts, and video games and the price you paid to get in was for the pool only. Everything else charged extra. I have a 3 year old. Is there anything there he can do besides the pool? I would love to see something that would get the community together and this sounds great.

You can go to the site for Paradise Breeze at the top of the homepage. I don't know if this answers your full question, but it might help.

Might cost a little something. We are going to be negotiating that if we get enough interest.

What you think of the banner I made for them. I think I can do better on the look of the water.

I like the banner, Chuck and after looking at the site, I see they have more than they used to. I would love to do this as long as it is a reasonable price.

I would like to come but I wouldn't want to start anything with any of the members. I have been told to stay away from one of our members by athourities so I guess we can't join you all in this event. I really would like to meet some of the members but because of one bad apple I get punished.

Letting the administration know that we RSVP'ed by email, in case the email didn't do through. It sounds wonderful and hope that there are enough people for this to happen. Good luck to all who are setting this up and thanks for trying to set up something nice for our community.

I wish. Have an old high school buddy driving up from Florida. Haven’t seen him in several years. We used to party hardy a long time ago. But then again, I used to party hardy with a lot of people. Now, I don’t even get out much. I’ll definitely be using a cab that night. He’s worried abut walking past the police station with his wife to head to French Quarters from the old boys club after the reunion.

Thank you for your sympathy. I really appreciate it. My family and I like to do things like this but in order to keep peace we can't join you all. Take lots of pics and put them on the web. We will find something else to do that day to occuppy us. No problem.:(

Hey Chuck or Daphne. Know how many people are attending as of right now? I hope that there is a big turnout so this can maybe become a yearly thing.

Chuck

If there's that many so far, wait until closer to the date. This is cool. I'm glad to have something new to do in maysville that doesn't cost a small fortune.

Hey tk were you and Mark in the same class ?

Are you talking about your son? Yes I did. I spent the first 8 years at St. Pat’s then transferred to Mason County. Mainly because of the bus. I got tired of getting up so early so mom could drop me off at my grandmother’s. Mom had to be at work at the hospital by at least 7 AM. I’m one of those “Spirit of ‘76” grads. Is he going to be there?

I will ask Mark about the reunion. We are meeting him in Vegas tonight. He lives in Burlington not far from the airport

tkcomer
June 30th, 2006, 11:21 AM
Tell him to come on. He can crash at French Quarters. I know of one grad that will be crashing there. And its not that far a walk from the old boys club.

I swear, that is going to be a busy day. My son's picnic for his first year of school is also that day. Luckily, we will still make it to the BBQ only we might be a little late since the picnic doesn't end until 6:00. I have convinced a friend to come also, so she can get to know some people. She moved here from Wisconsin a few years ago and still doesn't know her way around Maysville much. I thougth this would be a good way to meet new people. Can't wait to meet everyone myself.
