The 2006 Buffalo Trails MultiSport Race Concludes

This event was another major success for our area. I don't know everyone to thank who helped out. There was just a great out pouring of support from the community as a whole.

The event is put on by the Maysville-Mason Chamber of Commerce, Dr. Mark Day, Vicki at the Chamber that put more time in on this event than anyone. Delores Baker-Wood and her Husband, and Dr. Wallingford.

We had Donnie Bussell and Victor McKay running double duty setting up much needed banners and other items to help direct the racers.

We even had Stevie McNeil come out and help direct runners and traffic. Many local businesses helped out with all the financial to put on the event. Got to http://www.buffalotrailsraces.com for a complete list of sponsors.

Lets not forget all the Men and Women that ran the races. Without them there would not have been an event.

We had the best time during the race. I was baby sitting a 3 and 5 year old. We sat on our front porch and each runner that past the kids would say, "hi I hope you win". Most runners acknowledged them, they were so nice. The kids even yelled it to people walking by with lawn mowers.
