China has cut a deal with Cuba to drill the Gulf of Mexico

What in the world are these people thinking ?

The 217-203 roll call Thursday by which the House voted to continue a ban on oil drilling in coastal waters.

I saw that. And they’re doing it with our money. From the factories that we moved there. Our loss is their gain. But I fear it is too late. We can’t cut China off, now that we depend so much on them. And owe them so much. China has been all over the world looking for oil. And getting it. More for them, less for us. But I honestly don’t know how to educate the voters. How can you convince them that it is THEIR (And ours) senators and congressmen that is the real cause of this mess? If our politicians had guts, they’d mandate a real energy policy that would stop the flow of imported oil. Probably take 5 to 10 years. That would depress oil prices worldwide. And then, those pesky regimes wouldn’t have the money to sponsor terror. Hard to build a bomb when your own starving people are calling for your head.

People do not care enough to be informed or take action. I am a firm believer that if you do not do anything to change the system you have no right to sit back and complain about how it is run.
