I've been getting the following three, for several months now, testing them out. I think I can finally recommend them. I PDFed the latest issues, and attached them here.
The first, is called the Boot List. A simple, plain english, Q&A newsletter for Windows problems. Even I learned a bit from it. It seems to be written in the style of magazines like SmartComputing, and such. I'd recommend it, for anyone using Windows.

The 2nd, is "Gizmo Richards' Support Alert Newsletter" A newsletter packed with all sorts of tips, and lists of what he considers the best freeware on the market. As a major advocate of freeware, and open-source (FOSS), he's found stuff that helped me replace the last of my propriotory software; GetRight, DreamWeaver, and Photoshop! I'm now 99.99% FOSS enabled. I'm now working on getting rid of Windows too! But that'll take quite a bit more time :). This list is HIGHLY recommended to anyone using Windows. There is other lists, and a commerical list too. But this list is free, and worth it. I haven't tried the commerical ones yet, but if they're anything like the free one, it'd probably be worth it.

Finally, for linux users, or linux wanna-bes, there is now a free, PDF linux magazine, for beginners. This isn't no ordinary mailing list, this is a full featured, color photo, ready-to-print magazine, delievered via PDF for free. Yes, FREE.
It's a big magazine, so instead of posting it here, I can make it avaible to anyone via e-mail, or or even just sign up here: www.tuxmagazine.com
