Maysville – Jess W. McCleese, 93, of Springdale Road, passed away Wednesday March 15, 2006 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center.
Mr. McCleese was born in Lewis County on October 20, 1912 to the late Harm and Dora Stamm McCleese. He was a retired farmer and landowner.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Sparks McCleese; three daughters, Anna Kissick of Maysville, Judy Howell of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Shirley (Herbert) Hicks of Zanesville, Ohio; two sons Wayne (Sue) McCleese of Winchester, Kentucky and William McCleese of Vicksburg, Mississippi; two sisters, Frances (Henry) Frodge of Germantown and Icie Cooper of Mt. Olivet; one brother, Fred McCleese of Gallatin, Ohio; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. One grandson, Brian McCleese and two sisters, Elsie Little and Myrtle Hesler preceded him in death.
Services for Jess McCleese will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2006 at Brell and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Washington Baptist Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until the time of the service on Saturday.
