View Full Version : White chocolate Macadamia Nut cookies

1\2 cup shortening
1\2 cup Butter or margarine
1\2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
1\2 tsp baking soda
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 1\2 cups all purpose flour
1 12 oz package white choc morsels
3 1\2 oz macadamia nuts (chopped)


1.) In a large mixing bowl beat shortening and butter with an electric mixer on medium for 30 secs. Add both sugars and baking soda. Beat mixture until combined. Beat in eggs and vanilla till combined. Beat as much flour as you can with the mixer and stir remaining with a wooden spoon. Stir in chocolate and nuts.

2.) Drop rounded tsps 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. bake 375 degrees for 8 to 10 min. Cool cookies on a wire rack and let cool.
