Maysville – Dorothy Iona Watson, 83, of Clark Street passed away Sunday, February 19, 2006, at Adams County Manor. She was the widow of Mance J. Watson.
Born in Mason County on May 8, 1922 to the late Moses and Lottie Swartz Bridges, Mrs. Watson was a self-employed housekeeper and a member of the Ripley Assembly of God.
Survivors include 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Her daughter, Allene Watson Waters, preceded her in death.
Services for Dorothy Watson will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, February 24, 2006 at Brell & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in the Shannon Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until the time of the service.
