1. When is the Market open?
Findlay Market is open Wednesday through Friday 8:00 am to 6 pm, Saturday 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, and sunday 11 am to 4 pm. Contact individual Vendors for availablity on Monday and Tuesday.
The Farmers Market is open on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
2. Who owns the Market?
The City of Cincinnati owns Findlay Market. It is built on land donated to the city in 1851 by the estate of General James Findlay for the specific purpose of providing space for a public market.
3. Who runs the Market?
Until recently, the City of Cincinnati was exclusively responsible for running Findlay Market.
The Market is now in a transition period after which it will be managed by a private non-profit organization, the Corporation for Findlay Market.
Mardi Gras at the Market!
Findlay Market's annual Mardi Gras at the Market celebration is scheduled for Saturday February 25, 2006.
Join the fun all day long as we celebrate with a family friendly event the Saturday before Fat Tuesday. Music, Cajun and Louisiana food to sample and buy, traditional parade through the Market led by Lagniappe band, Crowning of the King and Queen and more are in store.
