Local candidates met this afternoon at the Clerks office to draw for ballot position.
The mood was light hearted and candidates seemed ready to get started on the campaign trail.
This is the first official duty after the candidates names were officially placed on the ballot by 4 PM last Tuesday.
The next official event will be Feb. 13th when the Secretary of State will certify candidates names to county clerks (second Monday after filing deadline) per KRS 118.215(1) .
