Dear Parents & Swimmers:
I just had to write and tell everyone the BIG STINGRAY NEWS!! Take a look at the ATTACHMENT!!! You will see where COLIN FARIS is now ranked in the 50 &100 Yard Frees in USA Swimming's 16 to 18 Age Group.
That's right. 6th and 13th!! You peeked, didn't you? But you have to open the ATTACHMENT to understand the WOW!! and DOUBLE WOW!! Colin swam those times at the Mid States Quadrangular Championships held in Indianapolis January 7th.
All of the Stingray family, especially Al & Suellen, should be super proud of Colin and all please congratulate him.
But wait! Two other Stingray stars showed their mettle at that All-Star Quad meet. AMANDA MILLER and OLIVIA SIMS also swam and, of course, did what all of us Stingray parents & swimmers are very familiar with. They shined bright and did some stinging of their own.
I must tell my good friend CHRIS SIMS that we miss having him around. I know I do as Chris was always smiling. And we know Chris misses Carla & Olivia & Lea Beth terribly. Big Boy, take heed at your daughter's ranking and don't forget Olivia stuck a sub 1 minute 100 on all of them so that 100 Free ranking is actually much lower. I can't wait to come down to Orlando and let you pay me back for that fabulous dinner we had in Huntington a couple of years ago!! (lol)
Everyone take a look at the Attachment to get the full flavor of what our swimmers accomplished!!
Also don't forget that to be ranked anyplace lower than 500 is pretty good considering there are literally thousands of kids swimming in all the Age Groups.
