A special grand jury investigating state hiring again focused today on the state Transportation Cabinet.
Katrina Bradley, chief district engineer for the state highway office in Flemingsburg, stayed in the grand jury room this morning for only one minute before leaving with her attorney to go to the judge's office.
Such action usually means witnesses are invoking their Fifth Amendment right not to answer questions to avoid self-incrimination.
