Maysville – Ramona Mae Dunaway, 78, of Covington, formerly of Maysville, passed away Monday January 2, 2006 at St. Elizabeth North Hospital in Covington. She was the widow of Donald Bryson Dunaway who passed away March 14, 1976.

Mrs. Dunaway was born in Mason County on January 31, 1927 to the late George and Juanita Carpenter Graves. She had worked as a housekeeper at Providence Hospital and was a former employee of Edith Henry Shoe Company in Maysville.

Surviving are her three sons, Donald Dunaway and his wife Olene of Glencoe, Douglas Dunaway and his wife Sylvia of Erlanger, and Dwight Dunaway of Cincinnati; three daughters, Naomi King of Hamilton, Tammy Dunaway and Debra Lovell both of Cincinnati; three brothers, Paul Edward Graves and his wife Christine of Indiana, George Graves of Flemingsburg, and Joe Graves; 11 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded death by two brothers Carl Thomas Graves and Norris Wheeler.

Services for Ramona Dunaway will be held Friday January 6, 2006 at 12:00 PM at Brell & Son Funeral Home with Rev Harry Meadows officiating. Entombment will follow in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, in Covington.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 PM on Thursday.

Aunt Ramona will be sadly missed by all of us. I always looked forward to her visits when i was just a child. Just seems like yesterday i saw her and her friend Loretta. Time sure does move right on past us. I wish i could have came in for the funeral to see all those cousins and family. But my health is not in real good shape and just the smallest bit of travel is not always an easy thing. But God is still good and all is in in his hands. I pray for the children of Aunt Ramona's. Don,Doug,Dwight,Naomi,Tammy and Debra may each of you find rest and peace in the arms of Jesus. It would be nice to hear from all my family. My email is listed but i will post it here as well.
