MAY’S LICK James “Jim” gallagher, 79 of Helena Rd. May’s Lick died Saturday, December 31, 2005 at Baptist Convalescent Center in Newport, KY. He was a retired farmer.
Mr. Gallagher was born in Mason County on May 26, 1926 son of the late John Gallagher & Lena “Shug” Grayson Gallagher Stanfield. He was preceded in death by two wives, Betty Wilson Gallagher and Stella Riggs Gallagher. A daughter, Irma Jewell Gallagher and a brother Bill Gallagher. Survivors include a brother Clinton (Evelyn) Gallagher of Sidney, OH and a sister Margaret Baker. A sister-in-law and care taker Elizabeth Orr of Newport and several nieces & nephews.
Services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Friday at Palmer Funeral Home in May’s Lick with Rev. Jim Finch officiating. Interment will follow in the May’s Lick Cemetery. Visitation Noon until 1 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
