Ron Nadicksbernd, standing, is recovering from back surgery. During the past year his wife, Jodi, right, and family and friends have come to his rescue to make sure the work was done in his orchard, Hillside Orchard in Bracken County. Nadicksbernd is expected to be unable to work in the orchard for a few more months.
