It seems pretty obvious that theses guys knew were everything was,,also they were not wearing gloves...Any fingerprints taken? Members of the club??? Something to think about. Im sure the police are looking at the membership roster.

Golly gee. Hasn’t technology come up with a better camera and taping system? The guy looks right at the camera with his hood down and I still can’t make him out. I’m kinda with Firecracker on this one. The one guy sure seems to know what he was after. I hope they catch them. Laurel Oaks has had more than their share of trouble. Thanks for posting these videos. The more “eyes” we have out there, the better.

The camera used was not of good quality, Sorta like a web cam that was accidentally left on.

I hate to disappoint any of you but I know the couple who run the golf course and they are just as po'd about this as any one else. They have no clue who did it and that is why the MPD are asking for our help. I also have to agree with ukfan, it would be a bad day for whomever did this if the coach gets ahold of them first.

So true.
Would just like to add that there are long gaps cut out of this video to save space and bandwidth. (too make the movie smaller) They did have periods of looking around. The spent about 45 minutes doing the crime. I had to compress it into the best of that to save on size. the whole video is 300 meg and the one you are seeing in only about 10 meg.
Keep in mind this is basically a bar. The Beer is in the frig. and the money is in the box type thing. A good career criminal would know the basics before entering. Of coarse a good criminal would have seen the web cam pointing at his face too.
I personally enjoy the Simon Kenton Golf Coarse. I really want to see these guys get arrested for the crime. I think there punishment should be to mow the golf course with a push mower for 5 to 10 years. A good push mower with those sickle spinning blades like my grandpa made me use.

This is my mother's sign up and she wanted to let everyone know that she didn't post this. Her computer has a trojan virus which Chuck is supposed to fix and this is something that the virus has done. They have no idea why.

I have 2 questions...1. is there a reward? for the proper names....2. where could a man get the full uncompressed video...have a friend who might be able 2 clean up the grainy-ness in the pictures email me the fullsize video at jwilson@maysvilleky.net

I don't think there are any rewards right now. And that is as full as the video will be released to the public.
Unfortunately if a video is cleaned or edited and a person is caught from the edited video he will be able to defeat the charges in a suppression hearing. Cleaning up and releasing an altered video can cause more problems than it would solve.
The video has to stay as close to it's original captured state to be admissible as evidence.

But one could break it down, frame by frame, and enlarge the still photos for better recognition
Chuck
January 4th, 2006, 03:00 PM
OK, if you did that. And that picture or video was use to catch the person it would not be admissible in court. I know this to be true from personal experience.
The pictures and videos must be in there original capture form in order to be used for evidence.
Besides that, the full video is not mine to distribute it is currently property on the Maysville Police Dept. The video I am authorized to release is the one you see playing here. Any request will have to made to them. Det. Fuller, 564-9411

I am merely pointing out that is one method for identification. In fact, the MPD did just that with the video from Radio Shack, at least that was what was written in the Ledger Independent

From the Maysville Police Dept:
Thanks to the Video Law Enforcement personnel were able to apprehend at least one of the subjects from the video and obtain a confession from him.
More information will be released later tonight.

Only Local 12 showed you security camera video of two men robbing the clubhouse in late November.
As soon as the video played on Local 12, a viewer drove right to Maysville Police to identify of the men.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
That is what the article states, but to my knowledge they weren't the only ones to show you security camera video of the suspects robbing the clubhouse.
http://www.wlextv.com/Global/story.asp?S=4302736
As of 12/30/05 the story was aired on 18 Lex. As of 12/29/05 the video appeared on the BBS (http://www.maysvillekybbs.com/media/mpd_simon.wmv) and an article was on the Ledger Independent's website as of the same day. The article was published on 12/30/05 in the Ledger as well.
I take it that someone locally recognized at least one of the suspects and then drove to MPD to give a statement, when the video was aired on local 12.
Good to know that when you get the public involved that you can get tips that led to the arrest of a suspected criminal. Just hope that the public can help to find the other suspect Jeffrey Fussnecker, 27 (aka one eye) before anyone else may become a victim.
