View Full Version : New Leaders Elected for Kentucky Women in Agriculture

Women in agriculture from across Kentucky came together November 2-4 at the Executive Inn in Owensboro for their 6th State Conference. The three-day conference featured sessions focused on “Moving Forward ~ Farms in Transition.”



As part of the conference, elections were held for a number of leadership positions within the organization. The following individuals were elected to serve two-year terms in their respective positions.



Jenny Inman (Daviess County) – Vice-President

Pam Chappell (Owen County) – Treasurer

Stephanie Young (Boyd County) – District 1 Delegate

Michelle Armstrong (Spencer County) - District 3 Delegate

Georgia Burton (Wayne County) – District 5 Delegate

Carla Creasey (Carlisle County) – District 7 Delegate



In addition to these leaders, Sharon Furches (Calloway County) was appointed by the board to serve the final year of a two-year term as secretary. These eight leaders join current board members Terry Gilbert (Boyle County), President; Kim Henken (Fayette County), Treasurer; Phyllis Amyx (Wolfe County), District 2 Delegate; Jane Elam (Fayette County), District 4 Delegate; and Loretta Lyons (Monroe County ), District 6 Delegate.
