William "Ott" Kendall, 91, died Dec. 5 at his home. Mr. Kendall is survived by a daughter Molly Kendall. His wife preceded him in death on August 14, 2004. Mr. Kendall was retired from Browning Mfg. Co. Services for Mr. Kendall will be Friday, Dec. 9 at 11:00a.m. at the St. Patrick Catholic Church. Visitation will be at Knox and Brothers Funeral Home on Thursday from 4 to 7. Ott was our next door neighbor. He, his wife, and daughter Molly were the first to welcome us to the neighborhood over 15 years ago. He always made sure that our two young daughters received a birthday gift from him and his family, and told some of the best stories about this city and area that I have ever heard. The man was a wealth of knowledge when it came to Maysville and the surrounding area. Our neighborhood will certainly not be the same now that he's gone. Rest in peace.
