annie,
I hope that things work out. Though I do not know what you are going through, I hope that your quote will, about the angels, will help you!

I will leave you with something my father told me, and I find it very true.

"99% of the things we worry about never happen, and the 1% that does happen, is not as bad as we thought it would be"

I hope this helps. God Bless you and your family, now and always.

It's too cold out there for me!
My motto is:
If I can't water ski........it's too cold for me !!

Our family is having a wonderful Christmas season if you are feeling kind of blue do something nice for someone it will feel your heart with joy.

...........and that is something I/we shall do. Please allow me to explain.....

We had an incident at our kid's church function last Sunday afternoon where a 8 year old child ( a guest ) was attending our Christmas caroling party at the Extended Care. This little girl stubbed her toe on a concrete step because she was wearing sandals. ( yes, the kind you wear on the beach -- but not in December! ) I decided right then I will buy that child a couple of pair of shoes to wear. One of the Extended Care nurses that attended this little girl's needs also gave me some money & asked if I would go out & buy the girl some shoes too. She will get a few pair Tuesday.

Yes, my friends, the rewards are far greater you receive from that child's smiles than $35-40 will give you.

It pays to serve somebody daily, not just at Christmas time.

Sorry......no Happy Holidays from me.

It's Merry Christmas ........see ya mark

This is a Christmas tree.
It is not a Hanukkah bush,
it is not an Allah plant,
it is not a Holiday hedge.
It is a Christmas tree.

Say it... CHRISTmas , CHRISTmas , CHRISTmas

Yes. CHRISTmas - celebrating the Birth of Jesus Christ!!!

Take a stand and pass this on !!

Well Ken it looks like New York is sharing some of the white stuff this morning. Started about 10:00AM and still snowing. I took this picture in my front yard this morning The snow's pretty, and I guess it does put you in the Christmas spirit, but I'd rather be looking at some white sand on the gulf cost of Alabama right now instead of snow.

12:15 p.m. and its 15 degrees. Sun shinning and windy......brrrrrr. Tonight Zero. Snow, sleet and freezing rain Thursday night into Friday.
Don't know if Alabama is far enough south.

You're right Ken, It's been cold pretty far south this Decmber. I guess it's just wishful thinking... Hey the good news is there's only three months to spring training! Go Reds!

BOSTON (Reuters) - Are diamonds really forever?

An anonymous gift-giver left a $15,000 diamond engagement ring to the owner of an unlocked car in western Massachusetts with a typed note hinting at a broken heart.

"Merry Christmas. Thank you for leaving your car door unlocked. Instead of stealing your car I gave you a present. Hopefully this will land in the hands of someone you love, for my love is gone now. Merry Christmas to you," the note said.

The three-diamond ring with a white-gold band appeared on the seat of the man's car at a train station in Westborough, about 30 miles west of Boston, on December 7, police said. Four days later, the man reported it to police.

"This appears to be random," said Westborough Police Lt. Paul Donnelly. "I think there was a search for a car that was unlocked."

The 37-year-old man decided to keep the ring after a jeweler appraised its value at $15,000, police said.

That was So sweet Mark, it breaks my heart to see kids suffering anytime of the year. We take all of my boyfriend's son's clothes that he outgrows (two days after we buy them) and give them to that second hand store. I bet they need blankets and things like that too this time of year.

I'm ready for Christmas, got my valium and ready to GO, Whoooohoooo. BRING IT ON Wal-Mart :)
