Take a drive through the beautiful country side and visit us at the farm the first weekend in December for our holiday Open House. We'll have our Soap Cottage and Farm Kitchen open for tours, with displays on making soap and preserves. We prepare special tasty treats using our jam and mustard for you to taste. There's always a pot of soup heating on the wood burning stove as a welcome to all who come.

The pantry shelves are stocked full of the season's offerings in jam, mustard and pickles. The soap shelves are filled with six kinds of herbal soap and beautiful wooden soap dishes. Our useful items make very fine gifts for everyone, young and old. If the weather is nice, you can take a hike around the farm at 2pm, or take the self-guided tour of the organic
gardens any time. We'll have a small hand-turned grain mill set up for anyone that wants to grind their own cornmeal. We've grown an heirloom variety of white dent corn called Hickory King. It makes the best corn meal!We use it for cornbread, mush, polenta, and to roll our okra in before frying. Fresh is best! Children love to use the grain mill.

Frontier Christmas happens the same weekend in Old Washington, just outside Maysville.

Directions to the Farm:

From the North, take Route 68 South through Maysville, continue ten miles south of Maysville to the yellow flashing light at May's Lick. Turn right on 324 (the yellow flashing light) and follow approx. five miles to a stop sign, where 324 meets 62. At the stop sign go straight ahead, for approx. two miles where you will take a left on 1029. Go less than a mile to the first road on the right, Dividing Ridge. This road is in the middle of a bend to the left, with a pond on the right. Take a left onto
the road and it is the first house on your right.

From the South. Take 68 North to Blue Licks State Park. Just past the park, turn left on to 165. Go approx. 2 miles to the first road on the right, turn right on 1029. GO approx 5 miles, cross into Mason County, and go up a steep hill. At the top of the hill take a left onto Dividing Ridge Rd. Then we are the first house on your right.
