Mayor Cartmell Gives Key to the City

Tammy Hardin's Preschool class was given "The Key To The City" this week. The key was presented to Ms. Hardin and her class at Straub Elementary School by Mayor David Cartmell.

Several weeks ago Ms. Hardin's class made a key to the preschool and presented it to Mayor Cartmell for the City. This key hang in the City Building Downtown.

The children and Ms. Hardin are really excited about this honor and would like to thank all the citizens of Maysville for this honor.

I am honored to be the only site carrying this story. Our preschool teachers are all above board and have been doing an wonderful job of getting our children prepared for the start of the educational process.

There are a lot of excellent teachers at Straub. It is a great school. We were sad when our 11 year old moved on from Straub to Jones, and will feel the same way when our 6 year old moves (in 2+ years) from Straub to the new intermediate school. Congrats to Ms. Hardin.
