War of the Worlds!

The Maysville Players will be putting on a performance Oct. 29th, 30th, and 31st at the Fields Auditorium.

If you can't get to the show, be sure and listen on Halloween night to the live performance on WFTM (http://www.wftm.net) at 7PM!

The Opera House is under going a major renovation with the money presented by the Governor a couple of month back.

Some how or some way during the rennovation of the theatre they should pay tribute to the late ANNE PARKER who WAS the Maysville Players for many, many years. Anne was there at the beginning and her drive and determination were instumental in the development.

I agree, Ken! She was very instrumental in every aspect of the theater. I worked with her on the set of "The King And I". It was a great experience. :)

She had a way of getting it done. Back in the 70 s she needed a late standin as Pawnee Bill in Annie Get Your Gun.
She knew I couldn't sing a lick, yet she talked me into it and made me just " mouth the words"........LOL
