Dessie will be missed by all that knew her. She had a way of getting people to like her which was through your stomach (lol). She has cooked for thousands of people in the area myself included. I remember when I was just a little tot and couldn't say Cooper so I called her "Cooker", because she was always cooking for someone. She was more like a grandmother to me, since I never knew my grandparents and I always thought alot of Dessie. I knew that Dessie had been ill for sometime and she and her family have been on my mind alot over the past week. I know that Dessie is in a better place now and I know that she is smiling, like she ways did.

Sincerely,
