Habitat is having a fund raiser on September 3rd.
It is called the Great Race and the first for Maysville. We are in need of participants and sponsors for it. Maybe some of the BBS members would like to be a part of it. The race will be six hours with four persons on each team, they have to find articles along the way with the winners receiving CASH. This is going to turn into an annual event and will be a big thing for Maysille. We are having a block party on lower Market street after the race with food and a street dance with live music. The woman who is getting the house will be there to start the race and work our food booth. You already know her, she is very deserving of this opportunity to own her house.
I can't say enough about how proud I am to be a part of this worthwhile program.
