MAYSVILLE -- Mrs. Betty Louise Moran, 67, of 8023 Orangeburg Road, died at 2 a.m., Tuesday at Meadowview Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Moran was born in Mason County on Oct. 2, 1937, daughter of the late Samuel Theadore Riggs and Irene (Workman) Riggs. She was a homemaker and worked for General Motors in Marion, Ind. painting Corvettes.
Mrs. Moran is survived by her husband, Stanley Lee Moran of Maysville; one son, Raymond Darnell of Maysville; one daughter, Margaret Sexton Moran; three step-daughters, Patricia (Richard) Calchera, Deborah (Roy) Highlander of Maysville and Barbara (Kenneth) Ollmann of University Place, Wash.; and three grandchildren, Harvey Lee Carol, Jerry Carol and Bobby Sexton. She was preceded in death by one son, Vance Darnell; one daughter, Ruth Ann Darnell Carol; one stepson, Stanley D. Moran; four sisters, Pauline Kirk Riggs, Lola Riggs, Katherine Riggs and Hazel Dixon Riggs; and six brothers, Samuel Theadore Riggs Jr., Robert L. Riggs, Eliza Riggs, Alvin E. Riggs, William R. Riggs and Raymond Riggs.
Services will be 1 p.m., Monday at Brell & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. David Cheek officiating.
There will be no visitation.
