Great lady, and a fantastic person. I can't remember a single time that she didn't have a smile on her face, or a kind word. We need more people like her.

To all of her family and especially to her son (whom is a great friend of mine) she will be missed but she is no longer in pain or suffering. If you need anything you know to call me and I'll be there. Again she will be missed greatly and her family is in our prayers.

Dear Gordon and family:

I am so very sorry about Dorothy. She was a lovely lady and had that special quality that always made you feel glad you had seen her; she always seemed so glad to see you and that was very special - her genuine enthusiasm for life and other people. And, of course, I still miss her columns in the paper. I learned a lot from her and was always trying to get her to publish another cookbook...She was always fun to be around and I will miss her too...I know she has not been well and now she is strong again her next life...But still, my sympathy is with you...

Sincerely,
Bobbie Finch Brothers

To our many many friends and neighbors in Maysvillle. Thank you all for being so kind to our family - especially during this time of need. You have been so wonderful!!!! You are the greatest and we will never forget you. Mom loved living in Maysville and loved all her friends and neighbors. Please keep Dad in your prayers, too - and stop in to see him often. He will be lonely with out his love of 62 years.

I am Scott Smith - third son (second of the twins) from Lebanon, Pennsylvania.

Indeed, the great neighbors and friends in Maysville who came out to support our family during the loss of our mother was a blessing. Good neighbors aren't as abundant as they once were, but in Maysville, our cup runneth over with great friends and neighbors. Thank you all so very much and know that we will not forget the helpful hand you lent us during this time.

Having moved to Maysville several years ago to become care giver to Mom and Dad, I have discovered why they chose Maysville to be their home. It's the people! How fortunate we, as a family, are to have such wonderful neighbors and friends. Thank you Maysville for "Adopting" our Mom.
To the many folks that helped us through these trying times and joined with us in celebrating Mom's life this past Saturday, Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
God Bless y'all.
