Can Someone Help Me Please

I am very interested in the first ward school., Its location mainly. Can someone please help? I know the 1st district school was on w. 2nd st. across the cotten mill and the fifth ward was on forest avenue but i cant for the life of me find anything about the first ward school........I know where fee high school was also but not first ward.............. Could it have been on 4th st west end of??????????? PLEASE HELP

havent heard of the sixth ward....... The first ward looks similar to maysville high school and the first district school...........But cant find any info about it. How many grades, location, etc...the years it was opened. I really need help.

Go to the museum. I believe they have 1876 maps of the city. These maps contain surnames, businesses and schools.
They maps are also for sale on Ebay.

The First Ward of Maysville, as shown in the 1876 Atlas of Mason County, was the extreme western end of town. Beginning at Short Street and going west to Beasley Creek.
Chances are that the 1st Ward School was actually what became known as 1st District. I have a postcard photo I can send you of that school.
