Branham Family, I will miss Betty, she was a great friend. We talked on the phone almost every day. We often spoke about Geneva and Eddie and Dickie. We couldn't talk too long, because her doggie , Missy would think she was talking to her and would start howling and crying. She loved Missy, and Missy loved her. Betty M. Henson

Hey family,
Being that I'm in Florida and can't be there for Aunt Betty's funeral I just wanted you all to know I love you all, and I know how you all feel in your time of loss. I was so upset to see Betty there in that nursing home when I came in last month. She looked so miserable and lifeless. Now shes in a better place where for years she was prepared to go. I mean after all her and mammaw did go make there funeral arrangments years ago. And now shes with the people she lost and missed for so many years. I know mammaw's happy that her big sister is there with her. And just for the record I know for a fact that my Aunt Betty WAS THE BEST COOK IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love you all and I know you all are strong and can get through this. If you need anything just let mom know and she knows how to get in touch with me.

There is no way to express what Betty and her extended family mean to me. She was my "Sister-in-Love," my husband's, William Edward (Eddie) Poe's sister. She was kind, had a delightful sense of humor, faithful and would do anything in the world she possibly could to help a person. She was NOT merely the finest cook in town but the best one in at least Kentucky and Ohio. There's a new, beautiful angel in heaven.
