Maysville is one of 11 Kentucky cities that will get new Huddle House restaurants.
The company based in Decatur, Ga., has reached a market development agreement with Clay Foods Inc. of Manchester to open 11 Huddle House restaurants over the next six years throughout the central part of the state.
Clay Foods Inc. will open its first Huddle House restaurant in Berea; the next three locations will open in Harrodsburg, Richmond and West Liberty. In addition, Clay Foods will expand to Crittendon, Lexington, Maysville, Shelbyville, Versailles and Williamstown.
"Huddle House is one of the fastest growing dining franchises in the business, and we are excited to be a part of such a progressive company," said James Dobson, president of Clay Foods Inc. "Huddle House offers a competitive dining concept that works in any size market, with an attractive return on investment."
The restaurants will be built in the company's Classic Diner style, a design that includes new interior with chrome trim and mahogany seating. Huddle House's full 10-page menu will offer a variety of items ranging from the company's signature "Big House" platters for breakfast, lunch and dinner to entre salads and soups of the day.
"We are pleased to announce our expansion and look forward to a long-term partnership with James. Huddle House is a dedicated organization that helps our franchisees achieve both professional and financial growth," said Philip M. Greifeld, chief executive officer of Huddle House Inc.
