MAYSVILLE – Charles “Chuck” Scott, 69, of Stonelick Road passed away Wednesday April 6, 2005 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Lexington, KY.
Mr. Scott was born in Berea, KY October 15, 1935 to the late William H. and Ella Mae Jennings Scott. He was a retired truck driver for Anchor Motor Freight and was a veteran of the United States Army.
Chuck is survived by his wife Barbara Hughes Scott; a daughter Gwyn (Douglas) Dicken of Walton, KY; a granddaughter Rachel Nicole Dicken and a grandson Zachary Joseph Dicken. He is also survived by four brothers and three sisters Paul Scott of Richmond, IN; Ernest Scott of Norwood, OH; Eugene Scott of Silver Grove; David Scott of Cincinnati, OH; Josephine Nelson of Palm Beach, CA; Catherine Powell of Richmond, IN and Betty Sue Planck of Cincinnati, OH.
Mr. Scott was preceded in death by two brothers William Scott, Jr., Johnny Scott and four sisters Ruby Bougher, Bonnie Durham, Virginia Scott and Phyllis Ann Scott.
Services for Chuck Scott will be 2 PM Saturday April 9, 2005 at Brell & Son Funeral Home Bro. Jimmy Miller Officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Maysville Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 11 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
