MAYSVILLE – Betty J. Dunaway, 72, of Meadow Drive, Maysville died Saturday morning February 26, 2005 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center. She was the widow of Roy E. Dunaway who passed away Jan. 12, 2003.
Mrs. Dunaway was born May 30, 1932 in Fleming County to the late Fleming and Vivian Whalen Gulley.
Betty was a housewife and attended the Plainview Baptist Church.
Mrs. Dunaway is survived by her son Larry Dunaway, two daughters Bonnie (Terry) Brown and Tammy Dunaway all of Maysville, five grandchildren Terra (Allan) Vance, Kay (Jason) Phillips, Larry (Valerie) Dunaway, Beth (Kevin) Stacy, Jacob Dunaway. Eleven great grandchildren Scott Vance, Katelyn Phillips, Brianna Phillips, Shayla Hornback, Christopher Dunaway, Levi Dunaway, Chandler Dunaway, Jarrod Dunaway, Zach Stacy, Nathan Stacy and Addison Dunaway.
Besides her parents Mrs. Dunaway is predeceased by a grandson Troy Hampton, two brothers Ransom Gulley, Eullie Gulley, three sisters Lottie Hampton, Lettie Bell Dunaway, Lillie Bell Herkamp, a half brother Henry Lantern and a half sister Mag Gulley.
Funeral Services for Betty will be 2 PM Wednesday March 2, 2005 at Brell & Son Funeral Home with Bro. James Beckett Officiating, interment following in Maysville cemetery. Visitation will be from Noon until time of service Wednesday.
