Howard Dean, the leader of the Democrat Party is who I'm talking about. I've posted another thread last week about the dems decision & now his stereotypical remarks about Blacks being relegated to hotel kitchen staff shocked the nation recently.

Star Parker reports in the attached article:

"It didn't take long for Howard Dean, the new Democratic National Committee chairman, to show his credentials as a graduate of the Trent Lott school of racial sensitivity training.

His remarks, at a meeting with the uniformly Democratic Congressional Black Caucus, that Republicans would need the "hotel staff" if they wanted to fill a room with blacks, tell us a lot about the man. They also tell us a lot about the Democratic Party that has chosen him to lead it out of its abyss."

She goes on to say:

"1.5 million blacks voted for George W. Bush in 2004 _ double the black vote that he got in 2000. I think that's enough to fill a room. And, Mr. Dean, most of those 1.5 million black folks who voted for Bush are not hotel staff."

I think that blacks across the country are starting to realize that the Conservative's platform of encouraging family values, supporting religion and morality, and taking responsibility for one's actions crosses all racial boundaries and benefits all people equally. And that message is glaringly absent from the Liberal side of the fence.

I think more and more of them are beginning to understand that government assistance and social programs thrown at them by the Dems is merely a form of bribery--and imprisonment. They now realize that they have more to gain under leadership that teaches universal respect and self-dignity.

I think this lady has it right.

These dems aren't listening to Bill Cosby at all! More proof that makes my 2008 selection for Prez a whole lot easier!!
The dems still haven't figured it out yet.

The hard working blacks in this country don’t like to see the wide social net cast by the Democrats any more than anyone else. That comes out of their paychecks too. But they are still very wary of a Republican Party that allows businesses to ship jobs overseas so their corporate donors can make more money. While they don’t like the wide net of the Dems, they don’t like the idea of the net being totally dismantled by the Republicans. Where is the rest of Dean’s speech? Could this have been taken out of context?

Yes, Phat Lou, a snippet. BUT, it's also another example of Howie shooting from the lip, instead of trying to convince everyone of us that the Democratic party really does want to be the party of the working class American (good luck with that!)

Dean seems to be doing a good job running Vermont. Verses Texas, which is struggling under the reforms Bush got passed. Now he wants those reforms for the entire country. And Texas didn’t struggle until after Bush was gone. That’s when the full effect was known. Neither party is for the blue collar worker. Good legislation can’t get passed because one side thinks of it, the other side gets jealous and opposes it. Why it sounds like…Kentucky. The only way to solve this bickering is to never vote for an incumbent until the national debt is down to zero. When they start losing THEIR jobs, they start to listen to the people and not their campaign donors. But it will never happen when people vote for war. And that is the media’s fault. They need to educate the public how perilous a situation this country is in. They need to let the people know that in a few years, China will own enough treasury bonds to tell US what to do. And if we don’t do it, they can throw us in a depression in a heartbeat. Then there won’t be a black versus white issue. We’ll all be in it together, exept for a few of the filthy rich. They’ll cash out right before the fall, just like they did during the last depression. And we’ll be holding the empty bag.

Propaganda is alive and well.

Out of 12,500.000 voting blacks, 1.5 mil. voted for Bush.

We have men getting killed by Shiite's in Iraq to have an election so the people of Iraq can vote the Shiite's into power.

I think more and more of them are beginning to understand that government assistance and social programs thrown at them by the Dem's is merely a form of bribery--and imprisonment. They now realize that they have more to gain under leadership that teaches universal respect and self-dignity.

Ouch,,, Bush only got a little over 50% of the vote's I would quite jump to a conclusion that the "World Has Seen The Light".

They (The GOP) are spending more money than the Dem's driving this country deeper in to debt and we have less to show for it.

We can teach our children to read and we have children that are smart. If we teach our children to understand what they read we will created geniuses.

Forget where I read that but I believe it to be so.

You cannot that a "snippet" a then claim to have full understanding. I have a full understand of what the aurthur of the above article had to say and can say he opinion is based on a "snippet".

Not enough information to make a solid choice from his writtings.
