MAYSVILLE – Stanley L. O’Neill, Jr., 64, died Saturday February 19, 2005 at his residence in Lexington. He was born August 4, 1940 in Mason County to the late Stanley L. and Margaret Brannon O’Neill. Mr. O’Neill was a veteran.
Stanley is survived by a brother Mark J. O’Neill of Keller, Texas and a sister Mary M. O’Neill Cushing of Cincinnati, OH.
Graveside services will be 11 AM Thursday February 24, 2005 at St. Patrick Cemetery the Rev. James L. McHugh Officiating.
Brell & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

I sincerely regret your loss of Larry. I spent many good times with him after he had gotten out of the service. I always felt the service had mistreated him.
I also had fond memories of our parents getting together. Lots of laughter.

Mary Margaret, Charlie Wells sent me the notice of your brother's funeral. Although it seems like another lifetime, I do remember him from my trips to Maysville when you and I were an item. I recall our stopping at River Downs for a day at the races before when we continued to Maysville. I remember a salad your mother made which included bananas and peanuts, a combination I had never seen before!! Your brother was at the table for that dinner. Funny the things a person remembers.
