For those of you that do not like diet soft drinks and are not familiar with Crystal Light, allow me to introduce you to this tasty beverage. This sugar free drink has only 5 calories per 8 oz. serving yet is flavorful and refreshing. There are many flavors to choose from and all are caffeine free except for the tea varieties. Best of all, it has no aftertaste like many of the diet sodas I have tried and has no carbohydrates, making it perfect for diabetics or those following a low carb diet.
Crystal Light comes in several sizes, from the tub that makes 2 quarts to the individual packet.
Crystal Light On the Go is the neatest thing since sliced bread. Just pour the contents of the package into a 20 oz. bottle of water, shake to mix, and enjoy! Speedway and Don’s Deli both carry the Crystal Light On the Go packets for about 39¢, with three flavors available, Lemonade, Peach Tea and Raspberry Ice. Personally, I do not care for the lemonade, but the other two are awesome. I hope to see some of the other flavors available in the On the Go packets soon.

That's a good tip. Also check out Wal-mart, and K-Mart's brand of flavored water. In the soda section, there is 6 pack, and 1 liter bottles of fruit flavored waters, and fruit drinks like 'cherry limeaid' (a personal favorate) A good way to keep hydrated, and also is 0 carbs too. (as well as 0 caffine, and 0 sodium)

Also those "Crystal Light On the Go" has been copied by Wal-Mart. Although I will admit the raspberry ice by WM is rather...I don't know, not bitter but not really sweet either. The crystal light is better.

My personal favorite flavor of Crystal Light is the Peach Tea...it is sweet but has a bit of a tang to it making it very refreshing when thirst is a factor. And with the tea varieties having a small amount of caffeine, I don't get a caffeine withdrawl headache.
I did try a 'generic' version of Crystal Light and to be honest, it nearly gagged me.

Just goes to show you, that not all cheap versions is good. Worth a try, however.
