Hmm...All that others wished for, is good. I'd like to see a more specialized shop myself. In TN when I visit a friend he takes me to some really specialized places. One I'm especially fond of, is 'The Soup Kitchen' where there is nothing but soup, and soup sides (like fresh hot bread - which I can't eat anymore :\)

But sadly, those places don't stay in business for long.

If a person was to count the number of places to eat within this area, you'd find out that there is several. But I have to agree, that a good seafood house would be nice, besides Long Johns. Add a fast cheap burgar place like White Castle, for those who are out late or on the run would be good also. Out of the three steak houses in the area, none of these leave me with the urge to "I can't wait to go again feeling". So can I get rid of a couple of these and try a new one?,,lol

Have you been to the "Sweet Annie Cafe"? They are here in Maysville, on Strodes Run Rd., right off the AA.
They have the kind of food you mentioned. And it is real HOME COOKED LIKE YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE!! I mean awesome! But, they are only opened during the warmer seasons. Here is their web site www.strodesrun.com

You might want to ask Ponto, he knows more about it than I.

And as far as restaraunts I would like to see here:

Denny's
Waffle House
Olive Garden
Red Lobster
