What are some of your pet peeves? Perhaps a car doing less than the speed limit in the passing lane or someone going through the express checkout lane with more items than allowed? Or (one of mine) someone standing with their hands in their pockets constantly jingling their change?
Anyone care to share their pet peeves?

..........................one that drives my crazy is perfectionism. Perfectionism generally gets one ulcers & I know some folks that will spend 2 hours doing a task that would take another person 10 minutes to do.
That really drives my crazy, especially if you are the one waiting .......see ya Mark

How about the person in the store that parks a cart on one side of an isle and stands beside it and blocks the whole isle? Or the two friends chatting it up in an isle, oblivious to all the people they are blocking. They are probably the same people that drive slow in the left-hand lane, blind to all the cars piled up behind them.

Big pet peeve? Try people who stop in the middle of the road to gab, and there is people behind them, wanting to go. I mean, jezz...they'll do it on the AA at times.
2nd worse is cellphone in cars. Now THAT's not only a peeve, but downright dangerious. I was rear-ended by a jerk on a cellphone.

One thing that really irritates me is when you place an order at a drive thru window and say "Thats all" and then the person taking the order starts suggesting items...drives me insane. If I wanted something else, I would've ordered it.

How about the reaction times of drivers at intersections... What is it about this area? of all the places I've been in my life, I've never seen drivers take so long to take off when a light turns green.. It's like it takes them 30 seconds to realize the lights green, then 30 seconds more to figure out what to do.

How about people that talk to you one minute then then just stop talking for no apparent reason?

By the time some people get moving, the light is about to turn red again. Very annoying!

How about those people who get in line at the store with an item that has no price tag on it and of course they have to have that one item, while the line just keeps backing up because it's Saturday and only one register is open.

....................Judy, how about those that have a $1.95 item in the fast lane & write a check for it?
Yikes.......................see ya Mark

LOL Mark! I so agree with you about the $2.00 check writer.
That has always been one of my pet peeves, from BOTH sides of the grocery belt! Standing in line behind him as he writes his check, which he knew he would have to do and did not even have enough sense to fill it out except for the amount before he even got in line, is bad enough. I worked the other side of that belt for a long time at Clydes and Ken's. Not only does he slow the line, but I had to slow it further by asking for ID and phone #.
The store manager does not hear the comments from the other customers in line, as the cashier does, but the manager is the first one to pipe up in cashier meetings that it will be our jobs on the line if we don't have that info on the check and the check bounces!

............I worked at Clydes on the Ave. waaaay back in high school.
Saw that happen plenty of times.
Yes, those eyes of folks behind them were rolling everytime too! ............see ya Mark

What about getting in line behind someone at a convenient store that wants to play a blue zillion lottery numbers, while you wait with only one item or just need to pay for gas? There are cards to fill out to make playing numbers go more quickly, but noooo...some folks have got to rattle them off one at a time. Argh!
