Hey Chuck. Do you have any new hard drives in stock? My ‘puter has crashed big time and I think the 20 gig IBM hard drive is bad. Tried reformatting and it showed up as a “G” drive. Reformatted again, and now the ‘puter will not recognize it. At all. Took a drive out of an old ’puter and it will boot up. But it is a small drive with Windows ’98 on it. I’m using the wife’s ’puter to post this as the E-mail on mine is naturally down. I have other problems as well. I can not get into my CMOS as it asks for a password. I have never assigned a password to it. This thing is really messed up. But I think if I stick a new hard drive in it, I can get it going again. So, if you have a new hard drive laying around, reply to this post. I get off work at around 6 PM tomorrow. I’ll try to check this post at work if I can get a free moment. Thanks.

You Da man. I get a call in to you after lunch. I'm not having a good time with these computers. I set up the wife's new 'puter and when I went to get the printer going, grabbed the wrong power supply. I didn't know those little black bricks could hum like that. Now it's shot. But it was about 7 years old. I just had bought a printer a month ago and was going to use that one on the wife"s 'puter for what little printing she does. Thanks.

Called all day. Never could get a reply. Got a hard drive from Wal-mart. The 'puter is starting to come alive. Slow process, but I'm getting there. You need to slow down. You are doing way too much. Thanks again.
