Dont know what's going on but it is driving me insane. The volume on my compute use to be gresat. I could play cds or limewire, etc., crank up the volume and hear it all over the house. Now when it is on "high" I can harly hear it. I have checked all the settings that I know of to no avail. Can anyone HELP????

Check the volume on the speaker itself, then check the volume control in windows in your taskbar (by the time). Check to see if your sound card has additional software on your pc and check the setting on it. I have 5 speakers so I have to make sure that my sound card is setup for that configuration or the sound stings.

The speakers have no volume control on them. I adjusted the audio properties on the volume thingy by the time on my taskbar. As to how to configure sound card...over my head. Wouldnt even know how to get to it to see what is going on. H*E*L*P!!!!!!!!!!

Check the wire in the back of the PC to see if it is loose or in the wrong spot. You mentioned low volume so I tend to go with in the wrong spot or bad speakers.

Ok, I checked the wire and it is not loose. I unhooked the speakers and plugged them into my son's computer...almost blasted me through the walls. Plugged them back into my computer and we are whispering again. It's driving me insane!!
