Question for all you 'puter geeks out there........

.............just kidding friends, I have a question that maybe you dudes can help this ol' boy out with.



At the bottom of the forums page, there is a box called display options. I would like to set this computer up to accept posts from "the last week". Currently it has settings of "the last year" on it. Everytime I change it to "the last week", the next time I come back on the site, it goes back to "the last year" again.

So.......how or where can I change the settings to allow this website ( & another site also ) to accept the limits I want to have?

I've heard it's somewhere in the "cookies" part of the program but I can't find it.

Any suggestions? ..............see ya Mark

Hmm...I'll have to field that question to Chuck, for it comes from the BBS itself. You *may* not have cookies accepted on yoru browser for this BBS, but without knowing what browser your using I can't really tell you how to set it.

I have the forums view set to 1 year by default. I did this when the site was new but I can change that at the next software upgrade. Should be next weekend.

Default view will over ride the cookie settings for this feature.

Good answer KC and you would be right except I set this feature to "Return Default' right at next login.
