Maysville – Harold “Wink” Heminger, 65, of Birch Court, Maysville, died Monday January 10, 2005 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Heminger was born on November 20, 1939 to the late Raphael and Marjorie Campbell Hitt Heminger. He was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Gerard Masonic Lodge #428 of Newton Ohio,Master Mason 3rd Degree, 32nd Degree Scottish Rite, and a member of the Syrian Shrine.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Sue Ruark Heminger; Mark Heminger and his wife Rita of Maysville; three daughters, Gail Casselman and her husband Timothy of Jamestown, SC, Gwyn Gallenstein and her husband Joey of Maysville, and Glenda Qualls and her husband Jerry of Lima, Ohio; his stepmother, Goldie Heminger; one step-son Chris Applegate and his wife Paula of Tollesboro; two stepdaughters, Angela Crawford of Mason County, and Jamie Applegate of Fleming County; one stepsister Lori Heminger Feltner of Clermont, Ohio. Also surviving are two granddaughters, Kacie Casselman and Brooklyn Heminger; one grandson Logan Gallenstein; four step-granddaughters, Alisha Nicole Applegate, Kristin Jade Applegate, Brooklyn Applegate, and Kaitlyn “Katie” Applegate; and one step-grandson, Zachary Crawford. He was preceded in death by his first wife Brookie Gail Hull Heminger; a brother, Bobby Heminger; and a sister, Andrea Kay Heminger.
Funeral services for Harold “Wink” Heminger will be held Friday Jan 14, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Brell & Son Funeral Home with Rev. C. Wayne Barnett officiating. Burial will follow in the Elizaville Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home with Masonic Rites a 7:30 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Lowe, Tony Heminger, Ricky McDaniels, Larry McDaniels, Chris Applegate, and Jerry Butler
