By resolution I am talking about you computer screen. The resolution is the size you view on the display.

Most folks my not know what it is. So if you want to find out what it is follow this tip:

Click your right mouse button anywhere on you desktop that you do not have an icon.

A menu will display. Scroll to the bottom of the menu and left click on properties.

Your 'Display Properties" will appear.

At the top you will see some tab's. Click on settings.

You Resolution will be in a slide bar box titled "Screen Resolution".

Mine is set for 1280x1024 on a 19" Monitor.

What is yours set for?

Mine shows 1064 X 768 on a 17" screen. Don't know if that is good or bad. I am so computer illiterate. I saw the following on a web page, it fits me to a T.

Until I lost my 17" CRT, it was 1024x768, now on the backup 15" CRT it's 800x600' I'll be going back to a 17" LCD as soon as I can afford. Might even go 19" We'll see.

I know this is the last CRT though :)

BTW you should have asked, if anyone uses multi-monitor tech too. I may go that route.

P.S. You know what Chuck? I thought of something. Why don't you set up a screen just for the 800x600 users so they can see all of the screen? I use the Xtreem setup but I noticed some seem to expand to far larger screens. Be sure to put in the resolution too like "XTreem - 800x600" or such.

This will be a big help in designing my web site. I'll be sure to make it work on at least an 800x600 monitor :)

Sorry I missed this Glenda.
1024x768 is what you need to fix most websites on your screen.. You can try 2 thing.

1. Use a lager 'font size', You will see this in the Display Properties Window under the 'Appearance Tab'. It is in a Drop Down Box toward the bottom of that window.

2. Change 2 800x600 under the settings tab using the slide bar.

I would recommend just upping the font size but you need to do which one works best for you.
