Mr. Hornbeck
MAYSVILLE – A. J. Hornbeck, 69 of Algonquin Drive, Maysville passed away January 1, 2005 at his residence.
Mr. Hornbeck was born December 18, 1935 in Lexington the son of Abraham Jennings and Hazel Plummer Hornbeck. Mr. Hornbeck was a Veteran of the United States Navy. A. J. had been employed at one time as the Meat Manager at a Sheraton Hotel in Columbus, OH, Manager of the Lexington Country Club, Lexington, KY and had also worked at the Maysville Country Club Maysville.
He is survived by Helen; a son John Hornbeck of Frankfort, KY, a daughter Kim (Alan) Wisenberg of Seminole FL; two sisters Phyllis Jean (R. J.) Mattox of Carlisle, KY; Rosemary (Eugene) Campbell of Frankfort, KY; three grandchildren; two great granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Hornbeck was preceded in death by a brother William Hornbeck and two sisters Lavaughn Campbell and Frances Combs.
Services will be held 1 PM at Brell & Son Funeral Home Tuesday January 4, 2005 with Rev Wayne Barnett officiating, interment following in Maysville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 PM Monday at the Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Charles Sledd, Mike Mattox, Phillip Mattox, Dave Witherby, Denver King, Brandon Mattox and Jeremy Mattox. Honorary Pallbearers are Stanley Litzinger, Bill Letton, Clifford Camden, Carl Berry, H. M. Snodgrass, David Witherby, Russell Campbell.
