I stopped by Traxel's this morning to pick up an item and ask how the move was going. The lady working there said the move would be going as expected.
I still seen lots of cool stuff in the store, which is still on sale I might add, but she add that all was going as expected.
I ask about the clock and it's damage from the accident. She said that the clock could and was going to be repaired, however the base was pretty much a total loss and would have to be completely replaced.
She said the new clock would be located in doors at the new store. I was hoping it would be outside on display but this will not be feasible in the new store location. And the safety of the clock is important to them as well. I can understand that.
They wanted to move the original clock that is currently behind the store on Front street to the new store. But due to restrictions they will not be able to do that. The lady at the counter did mention that the original clock is For Sale. I should have ask the price but didn't.
I see this as a good move for Traxel's but will miss seeing them Downtown. Guess I should have stopped in more.
I will try to sneak in and take pictures of the New Store when they open if they let me.
For now I will post the last pictures of the clock take a day or so before the accident.
