Local swimmer Amanda Miller of the Limestone YMCA Stingrays has swum herself into USA Swimming's Top 50 in the 50 Yard Breaststroke.
Amanda swam the 50 Breaststroke in a very fast 32.88 seconds in the Jack Thompson Fall Classic, held 10/15/04 at the Mary T. Meagher Aquatic Center, in Louisville, Kentucky.
Amanda has excelled in the water from the first day she joined the local Stingray swim team. She qualified for the YMCA Nationals last summer, quite a feat for a swimmer so young.
Amanda also won the 13/14 Girls Kentucky YMCA State Championship last March and was second in the Bluegrass Swimming League Summer Championship swum last summer in Harrodsburg, Kentucky.
