Jo Mae Berry, 78, of Maysville, died Wednesday Nov. 3, 2004 at Meadowview Regional Medical Center.
She was retired deputy jailer and the widow of the late Lloyd B. Berry.
Jo Mae was born on March 8, 1926 in Rome, Ohio to the late John and Edith Holsinger Blevins.
Mrs. Berry is survived by a daughter, Pamela Evans, of Maysville; two granddaughters, Valerie Blythe and Michelle Collins, both of Maysville; one grandson, William Messing IV, of Maysville; one great-grandson, Matthew Lloyd Applegate of Aberdeen, Ohio; two brothers, Rev. Harry Blevins, of Friendship, Ohio and William Blevins, of Manchester, Ohio; and seven sisters, Lorie Horsley Arthur, of Stout, Ohio, Lattie Jones, of Manchester, Ohio Marcell Rivers, of Milford, Ohio, Kathryn Grooms, of Cherry Fork, Ohio, Edna Mae Barber, of Cincinnati, Phyllis Jones Of West Union, Ohio and Garnetta Harsley, of Hartford City, Ind.
Mrs. Berry was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby Ullrich and Nellie Molen.
Services for Jo Mae Berry will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Brell & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Harry Blevins officiating.
Burial will follow in Green Acres Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
